Textiles


During the first year all students take part in a series of workshops to develop their skills in printed, constructed and embellished textiles. Students are asked to consider issues around sustainability and are encouraged to use recycled or found materials to create innovative textile samples to be used in conjunction with their design ideas or as a final outcome.
Students who select the fashion textiles pathway during their second year can choose to specialise in either constructed or printed textiles or produce work across a range of textile disciplines. Past students have progressed to a range of high profile degrees including:
