One of the most creative and inspirational courses of its kind, we aim to develop students’ ability as fashion designers through exploration of the design process, underpinned by good technical skills. Working through an exciting series of ideas led projects, students learn how diverse and individual concepts can be developed to inspire fashion, textile and fashion communication ideas.
The course has a strong emphasis on design and illustration supported by historical and contextual studies. During the first year students study a range of pathways which include fashion design and development, illustration, textiles and fashion communication and promotion; students then select a specialist pathway to explore during the second year.
