The earliest known evidence of paredolia, known as The Makapansgat Pebble, was founded by one of our australopithecus ancestors in southern Africa nearly 3 millions years ago. Following that initial research I started to explore the evolution of human faces through history, creating a cloth sample inspired by the work of the artist Freddie Robins.
