The Final Major Project concept I have chosen is based on the psychological phenomenon called Pareidolia, that causes the human brain to lend significance, and facial features in particular, to random patterns and objects. This is actually a really common occurrence that many people experience occasionally but most of us take for granted.
My aim for this project is to check to what extent our facial recognition ability goes beyond specific symmetric shapes and figures to forms in which we would never consider to find face patterns, and also encourage the viewers to take different approaches in the way they see things.
