What would happen if every time something broke, we had no choice but to fix it, would we find new ways to fix things or find new materials to use?

This project is an exploration of the ways in which fixing things draws out a refreshed beauty in them. Intrigued by the vast range of items that you can find dumped on street corners and around our city, I delved into the idea of fixing items that can be found in fly tips. I came across some beautiful ways of mending that have since influenced an intricate collection and garment inspired by the deconstruction and repurposing of a pre-owned, torn jacket.
