Jolie Lanning (She/They) has been involved with Touchstone Theater in multiple capacities since she played a tap dancing genie in the Young Playwright’s Festival at the age of 9. A recent graduate of Muhlenberg College, she is thrilled to continue her journey with Touchstone as an MFA candidate! Jolie has discovered a passion for empowering youth through art after working as a counselor and teaching artist for Touchstone’s youth camp for several years, and now in Young Playwrights Lab as part of her program. She was also the assistant director for Lehigh Valley Girls Rock’s GET LOUD camp for 3 years - a music and art camp focused on empowering girls, transgender, and nonbinary youth. After experiencing both the Touchstone summer camps and GET LOUD camp as a camper and volunteer, she understands how crucial youth empowerment through art is, and how vital it is to building a better future for all.
