In the Future, Girls Can… is a party that amplifies the voices, dreams, and lived experiences of young girls today. As part of Touchstone Theatre’s Fresh Voices production, Master of Fine Art candidates Jolie Lanning and Anisa Hosseini invite girls ages nine through fourteen to imagine, express, and share the futures they see for themselves in a fun and uplifting environment.
Through arts and crafts, interactive games, and guided creative exploration, participants will be encouraged to reflect on who they are and who they want to become. The gathering will include an optional Show-and-Tell, where participants are invited to respond to the prompt: “In the future, girls can…” through any form of artistic expression.
This space is designed to honor each girl’s voice as powerful, necessary, and worthy of being heard!
And as any good party should...we will have snacks!
