Title I

Title I of the Elementary & Secondary Education Act (ESEA) provides financial assistance to local education agencies & schools with high percentages of students from low-income families to help ensure that students meet challenging state academic standards.  

At LES, Title I funds are used school-wide to purchase enrichment and intervention tools and help fund 2 teaching positions.
