During the 2025–2026 school year, LES was proud to participate in the UTrust Appreciation Program and receive a grant to promote kindness, appreciation, and positive school culture.
Throughout the year, students and staff had opportunities to recognize and encourage one another through acts of kindness, gratitude, and appreciation. These activities helped strengthen relationships, foster a supportive environment, and remind us of the importance of treating others with respect and compassion.
We are grateful to UTrust for supporting our school and helping make the 2025–2026 school year a positive and meaningful experience for our students and staff.
Thank you to our presenters for making Career Day '26 an awesome learning experience for our students!
State TCAP Testing will soon begin in schools all across Tennessee. To better understand the 3rd-grade English Language Arts assessment, this resource discusses the Tennessee state standards and includes a video that explains the state test, Decoding the 3rd Grade State Test.
The Measurable Results Assessment is a survey tool used to annually collect, analyze, and report student-, staff-, and school-level outcomes related to the focus on improving leadership, culture, and academics.
Leader in Me Schools use the MRA as they engage in continuous cycles of improvement to identify its strengths and weaknesses, develop improvement plans, and monitor progress.
