Student and Staff Conduct
Library policies are designed to ensure a productive and respectful environment for all patrons. These guidelines encompass procedures for entering and exiting the library, as well as designated seating areas and acceptable noise levels. By establishing clear expectations for behavior, the policies promote respectful interactions, a quiet learning atmosphere, and responsible use of library resources.
Be Safe: Patrons are expected to walk at all times and to keep hands, feet, and personal belongings to themselves.
Be respectful: Individuals should adhere to directions and communicate in a calm and quiet manner.
No food or drinks in the library: Consumption of food and beverages is not permitted within the library unless explicit permission has been granted.
Library visits vary by teacher and grade level. Classes may visit for 20 to 55 minutes for instruction and book checkout. Library books can be returned during library class or in our book returns.
