Join us at the East and West campuses for our annual summer reading program! Each campus has its own bookmark with specific instructions. Please refer to your campus below for details. Earn prizes while reading throughout the summer! Remember, both campus bookmarks are due by August 15th.
Parents initial each 25 minutes per circle session of reading time. Students complete this bookmark and return it to the MA West Library by August 15 for their prize. No more than one session per day please.
Parents initial one circle for each book read. Complete ALL for a prize. Add the title of the book to the back side. Students return this bookmark to the East Campus office by August 15.
5th Graders Only: Complete your reading of 9 Battle of the Books over the summer to earn a $6 giftcard for the SkyTree Fall Bookfair at MA Library. Print our bookmark for details. This is an additional prize.
Book Checkout Limits:
Kinders- 1 book (stays in the classroom)
1st grade - 1 book (may take it home)
2nd grade - 2 books
3rd grade - 3 books
4th grade - 4 books
5th grade - 5 books
What is the Library Policy?
MA West Campus open library hours are Mon. Tue. Thu. 7:45 am - 8:00 am and 2:45 pm - 3:10 pm
Books are due in 14 days. Audio Books are due in 1 week. There is a book return located on both the East and West Campuses.
A library book may be renewed if no hold has been placed on the book at the time of renewal.
In-library holds may be placed only on unavailable books.
There is a limit of two graphic novels for K-5th grade (this also applies online).
Library notices and reminders are sent to parent email addresses. Check your junk or spam folders.
Students can use their school username and passwords to log into the Library’s online Destiny Discover and browse for books, plus place holds for library delivery.
Books requested through the Library’s online Destiny Discover will be delivered to the student as soon as they are available.
Fines will be given for lost or severely damaged books. Please keep them safe!

Follett Destiny Discover is a tool that allows students and educators to access and search for digital and print resources, including eBooks, audiobooks, and interactive books. It also provides access to subscription databases.

Destiny Discover is a tool that allows users to find and access library resources. To browse, enter the title, author name, or subject of the book you wish to find. Select the advanced search icon to the right of the search bar for advanced search options; this gives you the option to set the interest level (grade) and reading level to your preference.
Log in to Destiny with your student account to view your current checkouts, checkout history, current holds, list of favorites, and library fines.
Parents, would you like to see what your child is checking out? Log in to Destiny with their student ID and select "My Stuff." Choose "History" from the drop-down menu. This will include a student's entire checkout history through Monument Academy.
How do I find Destiny on my ChromeBook?
From your Chrome Book, open your browser and look for the bookmark in the top left corner. Click on the bookmark "MA East Campus." Select "Destiny Discover."
What is my Login?
Use your school username and password to log in to Destiny Discover. If your login does not work try a new browser window. If it still doesn't work, contact your librarian, Mrs. Huffman.

Interested in reading to a class?
Would you be able to join us during your student's library time to read a story? This is a wonderful opportunity to promote excitement about reading and celebrate a special occasion. The students really enjoy having different people read books to them. If you're interested, please contact Mrs. Huffman at khuffman@monumentacademy.net.
Log in using the same student username and password as other school accounts to see account details, due dates, place requests/holds, find new books, and research.
Are you interested in graphic novels, fantasy, or science fiction? We have all those genres and more at the library for your reading enjoyment! You can check them out from the library by putting books on hold. We will deliver the books to your classroom! Click on the MA Destiny Catalog and find your next great read. Need ideas? East and West Campus students may browse digital and print resources, including eBooks and audiobooks online. To request a book from the library, follow the steps described in "How Do I Request a Library Book?"

Are you looking for the book return inside East Campus? The black return box is located in the main lobby between the front office door and the fireplace.
Please give your return 48 hours to process in Destiny Discover. Your book will be checked back in soon. If your account does not show that your books are returned after 48 hours, you may message the librarian khuffman@monumentacademy.net.
Review your favorite books on Destiny so other students can find great books. Click 'Add Review' and add your star rating. Top-rated books will be added to Destiny's Library Catalog home page.
