I am so excited to start a new school year!

 Background and Insight:

          I will be taking steps toward building relationships with my students based on trust and bring together experience, knowledge and guidance toward a growth mindset philosophy.  

 A Growth Mindset is a learner who believes their strengths can be developed with effort, learns from mistakes and has the persistence to improve!  A Fixed Mindset learner seeks perfection and avoids failure.  This learner believes their strengths are gifts that can't be developed and focus on perfecting their abilities.  They also believe that talent alone creates success without effort.

I look forward to working with you!  

I will strive to know the developmental characteristics of each child I teach and will look at them as an individual with strengths and areas of need.  I will offer support and communication  with you as the parent so we can work together on common goals.  All suggestions are based on a philosophy of treating children with dignity and respect, and teaching them social skills and life skills along the way!  Success grows from the learning process itself!
