Meet the Teacher

Hello, and welcome to kindergarten! My name is Beth Fleck. My husband, Todd, and I are both graduates of Montour and Penn State. After graduating , I was a substitute teacher for four years and a third grade teacher for six years. I taught third grade in Florida, Atlanta, and here at Montour. I took a break from teaching to stay home and raise my three daughters: Alex, Andie, and Lucy. Alex just graduated and is headed to West Virginia Universtity to study pharmacy and run cross country and track. Andie is in 11th grade and loves fashion and running. Lucy is in 8th grade and loves products and her phone (ha ha). I also have a dog named Max. He is my favorite of all! For the past 7 years, I have been a substitue teacher in the district teaching all grades and subjects. I am so excited to teach kindergarten!

Outside of school I enjoy gardening, walking, spending time with my family, relaxing and shelling at the beach, and going out to dinner.

I am looking forward to this school year and working with you to make it a successful one for your child. This is a special year, and I will be sure to treat your child like I would want my own to be treated; with love, care, and support.
