What is Powerschool?
PowerSchool is an easy to use, web-based student information system. It is intended to provide parents, students and teachers with a tool to communicate student performance. PowerSchool may be accessed from any place the parent/guardian can access the Internet. Please make sure you download the mobile application from your app store.
How do I Create an Parent Account in Powerschool?
First, you will need to create a parent account. Next, you will need to add your child to your account so you can view their school information. Follow the below instructions for creating a parent account. Each parent can have their own account to see their childs information.
IMPORTANT: You will need the Powerschool information provided by LME that contains your childs ID and Password for Powerschool
Step 1
In a browser go to - http://mymusd.powerschool.com
Go to Create Account Tab
Click on Create Account
Step 2
Fill out the Parent Information section on the form
Step 3
Enter the information for each of your children whose account you want to access. Use the LME provided Access ID and Password
Step 4
Go to your registered email account indicated in step 2 and click on the verify your email address.
Step 5
Sign into Powershool Portal with your new account.
Step 6
Download the mobile application form your mobile platform app store.
