Our Opportunity: Why Now?

Like all high schools in California, Monrovia High School participates in a regular accreditation process with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Think of it as a 'check-up' for our school, where outside education experts review our programs to ensure our students are receiving a high-quality education.

Our recent review provided us with valuable, constructive feedback. The review team highlighted a major opportunity for growth: for MHS to develop its own unique identity. They challenged us to create a site-specific vision and set of goals, developed with input from everyone, that truly captures the spirit of our community and guides the daily work in every single classroom.

We fully embrace this challenge! This process is our direct response. It's our chance to build a shared blueprint for success that is created by Monrovia, for Monrovia.
