Letter From President

Hello,

I want to extend a warm welcome to all members of the MEA ( Monroe Education Association). I want to express my gratitude for allowing me to represent you as the MEA President. I have had the opportunity to hold that position for the last 15 years. During this time we have had four superintendents, multiple admin changes, board member changes, and a copious amount of teacher turnover. We have negotiated more than 5 contracts during this time ( in my opinion some of the best contracts in Butler County). The constant during this time has been the professional work ethic of our members, and the dedication demonstrated to our students and families. We have gone through many trials and tribulations, plus many monumental changes for the Monroe Local School District.  We are definitely a destination school district and not a stepping stone. That is attributed to not just the MEA members, but to all personnel that make Monroe who we are. Again, I want to thank you for all that you do!
