Mrs. Hey

About Me: My name is Lisen Hey (pronounced leeson high). I have been teaching social studies on and off for 20 years but I've been a student and lover of social studies all my life! Growing up in a Navy family meant I was born in England and then stationed everywhere from Iceland to Hawaii. For as long as I can remember I have been my happiest when traveling, exploring new places, and going to museums! When it was time to pick my major at the University of Oregon (GO DUCKS!!), naturally it was history! It is my honor and privilege to bring my passion for this subject to my students. In learning about the patterns of humans on this earth, it is my goal that students will realize that though we are all unique individuals, we are all God's children and from the deserts of Africa to the the Arctic tundras we are more alike than not!
