STEM Math

Every student learns in their own way and in their own time, and learning Math is no exception. Finding a curriculum that works for your student is essential--and we are here to help! Whether you are a confident Math teacher or concerned about keeping up with your kiddo, there is a curriculum out there that's perfect for you. Students are expected to complete weekly lessons, as planned out in September at SLP meetings; parents share responsibility for monitoring their students' work and communicating whether or not work was completed each month.

Time is set aside twice a week for Math instruction; half of the time is spent on whole-class direct instruction, with the other half devoted to students' individual weekly lessons. Students working at Algebra I or above have the option to enroll in Algebra I, Geometry, or Algebra II outside of the STEM classroom (joining one of our PPP Math classes instead).
