Mrs. Amber's 4th Grade

In 4th grade, students have been strengthening their grammar and writing skills through daily practice and structured writing lessons. We’ve been working on writing clear, organized paragraphs with strong topic sentences, supporting details, and conclusions. Students are learning to revise and edit their work by focusing on complete sentences, correct punctuation, proper capitalization, and stronger word choice. We are also practicing parts of speech, subject-verb agreement, and how to use transition words to make writing flow smoothly. Through writing prompts, collaborative activities, and guided practice, students are becoming more confident, thoughtful writers. We have began the argument process for opinion writings.
