Dear Students & Parents,

Welcome to Team Discovery! We look forward to meeting and working with you! Seventh grade will be an exciting and challenging year. Many activities are planned to help you discover more about yourself, your community, your world, and your future. We will be planning multiple team building activities that will require you to think critically and help you work cooperatively with your classmates. In the classroom, we will work to develop better study strategies and help you to become an independent learner. We are very excited for the upcoming school year; see you soon!

Team Awards

Every marking period, teachers will select students for recognition in their class based on specific award criteria, considering qualities such as academic achievement, effort, leadership, responsibility, citizenship, perseverance, and character. From these award recipients, a different group of students would then be chosen for overall honors because they consistently demonstrated the values and characteristics that reflect the mission and expectations of Monroe Township Middle School. These students serve as positive role models through their commitment to learning, respect for others, integrity, and contributions to the school community. Their actions and attitudes exemplify the qualities that Monroe Township Middle School strives to develop in all students.
