First day of school: September 3rd, 2026
All teachers on Team Discovery use Google Classroom for announcements, assignments, and updates.

*FYIs, rules, and procedures will be presented and reviewed on the first day of school. Supplies do NOT need to be purchased by the first day of school!
Picture day- September 23rd and 24th (make ups 11/10)

7th grade back to school night: September 22nd, 2026 for 7th grade
Conferences 11/30/26 and 12/2/26

Summer Reading and Mathematics Packet Information

Summer Reading: Summer Reading: Students are required to read at least one book of their choice during the summer. To help students with their selection, a list of recommended books have been put together by the MTMS ELA teachers, the MTMS Library, and the Monroe Township Public Library. Mathematics Packet: For ALL math classes, students will be required to complete a summer packet, which highlights the skills necessary to move to the next grade level. In these packets are skills that students should have mastered by the end of their previous year. Remember to work on your math packet throughout the summer. Students are required to complete these packets to the best of their ability. Packet copies and resources are available on the MTMS website. The summer math packet is due on the 1st day of school. After reviewing the packet in class, an assessment will be administered to test students’ skills in early September. The packet can be found on the MTMS website. Gum Policy

There is no gum chewing allowed on Team Discovery. A contract is signed by students at the beginning of the year.

Academic Integrity

Academic Integrity- (Forgery/Plagiarism/Cheating/AI)-

Automatic Loss of Grade (LOG) plus consequence as stated in Code of Conduct.
