Since students may not have access to my Google Classroom pages during the summer, this is where they can find summer reading resources.

The book should be on their reading level.
The book should preferably be one that they have not read before.
Students should come ready on the first day having finished the book.
Students should have notes, although they will not be graded on the notes, in order to best complete the assessment on their book.
As a part of the Reading Workshop, students will be reading books of their choice both in class and at home. Students are expected to have a book ready to read at all times. If a student doesn't have access to a book, they can look at my "Virtual Library" to find something to read for a day or two while they obtain a new book to read.
Students: One of my favorite parts of my job as your ELA teacher is putting books that you like into your hands. If you're struggling with finding a book that you like, talk to me! I'd love to help you.
