Welcome, everyone! My name is Ms. Babin (she/her), and I am the 7th grade English Language Arts teacher for Team Phoenix! This is my seventh year working at Monroe Township Middle School and my fifth year on Team Phoenix, and I couldn't love our team more.

I am an alumni of Columbia University's Teachers College with my MA in Computing in Education, and I earned my BA in English, Adolescent Education at Marist College.

Although I tend to wear a lot of black, I love the soothing color of a pastel green. As expected, one of my interests includes reading. My favorite book is Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, and I am currently feeling very seen with the poems that Morgan Harper Nichols has been writing and posting on her Instagram. 

Other than reading and writing, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, taking pictures, drawing with pastels, listening to music, being outdoors, and calling Ms. Ponsini fairly regularly.
