What is Cloud Computing

Normally, we store our information on hard drives. Software applications like Microsoft Word, are also saved onto the desktop and can be accessed only from local network.
Cloud computing is a new technology that uses the internet to provide storage for all such information.
Cloud computing is a simpler topic than most would imagine. Basically, it is provided by a third party service provider, that hosts a large data center setup with a variety of computer hardware and software, as opposed to keeping all of the information stored on one computer. Really, the user doesn't have to be completely concerned what computer is storing their information, because it is all stored remotely on the cloud.
Anyone can use a cloud. Small, medium, and large companies use cloud computing. Cloud computing is managed by someone else so that no work has to be done by you.
