Simon Boateng holds PhD in Geography and Rural Development. He is the 2nd Runners-Up for the Ghana Most Outstanding Teacher Prize, 2023 (Colleges of Education category). Simon is a teacher educationist with extensive pedagogical and content knowledge and experience in Environmental Management, development studies and teacher education. He has published 17 research papers in reputable international peer-review journals on women health and development, waste management and education, and many others are forthcoming. He has won and managed four grants totaling US$100,000 from institutions such as T-TEL, US Embassy in Ghana and National Petroleum Authority. Dr Simon Boateng is an exceptional person who can develop and motivate others to achieve targets with a strong demonstrable ability to manage project from conception through to successful completion. He is a proactive individual with a logical approach to challenges, and performs effectively even within a highly pressurized working environment. He is a member of the African Union Center for Girls'/Women's (AUCIEFFA) Advocates on Women's/Girls' Education and a fellow of the RLC Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Cohort 13. He was also selected for the African Presidential Leadership Programme in Cairo in 2021
