STEP 3: How-to Get to Office 365, Outlook, and Teams

To get to Microsoft Office 365 that has Outlook Email go to:

www.mcs4kids.com > Staff tab > Staff Applications > MCS App Portal

You can also get to the MCS App Portal directly at https://launchpad.classlink.com/mcs

Once at the MCS App Portal you sign in with your District username (not email) and password.  You can find the tile for Office 365 to click or use the search box at the top of the MCS App Portal to type in "Office" for the tile to appear.

STEP 4: How-to Non-MCS eLearning Module

Your New Hire Tech Training is located in our PD Catalog.  The PD Catalog is an app in the MCS App Portal. 

 www.mcs4kids.com > Staff tab > Staff Applications > MCS App Portal. You can also get to the MCS App Portal directly at https://launchpad.classlink.com/mcs

Once at the MCS App Portal you sign in with your District username and password.  You can find the tile for PD Catalog to click or use the search box at the top of the MCS App Portal to type in "PD" for the tile to appear. When you are at the PD Catalog you will then search for "New Hire Tech for Non-MCS Staff" > click on course name > click Start button > to complete you will need to go through all slides in the eLearning module it should automatically complete you when you are finished if it does not then click the "I'm Finished" button back in the PD Catalog for this course to mark you as completed. 

Note: If you do complete all the slide in the eLearning module then if you refresh the PD Catalog for the listing of the course it may show as "Completed" and you will not have to click the "I'm Finished" button.

If you need access to PowerSchool or PowerTeacher you can have your School Site Admin send in that request to the Help Desk.


Training

If your new job requires you to use PowerSchool then you will want to request this online training module.

PowerSchool is our Student Information System and where Teachers take attendance and grade book. To learn how to use PowerSchool you have this optional training opportunity: call the Help Desk at 209-574-8600 to get your login access to the online training for PowerSchool on this website https://training.powerschool.com 

Schoology Request and Training

If you need access to Schoology then have your School Site Admin email that request to Schoology Support
