What is Dual Enrollment?
Dual Enrollment (DE) is a partnership between MJC and local high school districts to enroll high school students in college classes. Students at least 13 years of age to earn college credit before they are even done with high school!
DE students have the $46 per unit tuition fee waived. There may be other fees associated with taking a class, such as material fees, parking permits, books, and other student fees.
How do I enroll?
Apply to MJC – please use a personal email for this
Check your email for your MJC Student ID# (W#) and MJC Student E-mail
Know what classes you wish to enroll in by accessing the DE Course List or the MJC Class Search Tool
Fill out the Special Part-Time Petition Form through Informed K12
Activate your MJC Student E-mail (Please check it at least once a week, as this is how most communication is done at MJC)
You will get an e-mail from MJC telling you your registration date and time. You may register for your class(es) on or after your registration appointment
