In August 2019, TDHS staff was professional development for our upcoming work implementing PLCs. Administrators even modeled a PLC meeting !
Three BIG Ideas of a PLC
1.Focus on Learning In PLCs, educators demonstrate their commitment to students by working collaboratively for high levels of learning for ALL students. 2.Build a Collaborative Culture Schools improve when teachers are given the -me and support to work together to clarify essential student learning, develop common assessments for learning, analyze evidence of student learning, and use that evidence to learn from one another. 3. Focus on Results PLCs measure their effectiveness based on the evidence of student learning rather than instructional intentions.
