Monash Clubs & Societies offer a range of training programs and certificates for monash students and clubs.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
The RSA certificate is an officially recognised qualification that teaches how to serve alcohol responsibly and in accordance with Victorian liquor laws.
It can be acquired online, training is held live over zoom.
At least one committee member of the club is required to obtain this certificate if the club intends to serve alcohol at any of its events.

Mental Health First Aid Training
The Mental Health First Aid is a training course that teaches students how to recognise and respond to students who face mental health challenges or crises. Equipping them with proper knowledge, skills and confidence to identify causes and provide support to students in need.
All 'Red-Level' risk off-campus events (see below), need at least 2 Event Coordinators trained in this course.
This course is available through a number of providers across the University:

Better Friends Training
Better Friends Training is a peer-led mental health program designed by student leaders for students, through scenario-based activities.
The program helps participants understand and feel more confident around mental health, as well as supporting their peers accessing professional help.
This course is recommended for 'Yellow or Green risk levels' off-campus events (see below).
