After data wrangling and video coding, we end up with the following datasets which were used for many of the visualisations shown on this website:
From Trace Data:

From Questionnaire Responses:

From Video Footage:

This page details the process in which these datasets were created.
We collected trace data which was automatically logged by the system. This resulted in datasets related to: where participants moved; the actions which participants performed; the position and state of objects in the scene; aggregated statistics of certain measures; and what types of visualisations participants looked at the most.
We gave participants three questionnaires to answer over the course of the study. These questionnaires included questions pertaining to demographics and experience, group behaviours and awareness, and system usability and cybersickness. Participants were asked to give their own individual opinions and not discuss responses with their fellow group members.
We recorded top-down video footage of the in-game Unity environment, as well as audio from each trial. This was primarily used for video coding, but also to reaffirm insights found through other methods.
We use Unity to replay the events of the user study to allow for more control when re-watching during our analysis. This was also used to create some of the images included in the manuscript.
