This site exists to help folks:
understand some of the challenges and supportive accommodations for Neurodivergent staff
appreciate some of the considerations around self-disclosure and stigma
consider an approach for seeking or supporting another with accommodations
There may be parallels with some of these materials in the broader disability space and readers are invited to consider these as well as they peruse the content.
Neurodivergent staff seeking to better understand available supports and/or self-advocacy
Staff who manage others (ergo may have direct reports who are Neurodivergent)
These materials are intended to complement awareness training around Neurodivergence and are not designed to stand alone for those new to the topic.
Aster Cosmos <Aster.Cosmos@monash.edu> is able to run such training on request for Monash teams and areas.
For those familiar with Neurodivergence or disability (especially the social model of disability) these resources may be helpful as a stand-alone reference.
These are intended to be navigated from leftmost to rightmost tabs along the top (as below)
Your feedback is very much welcomed, please use the form in the "next steps" section or reach out to Aster directly. The goal is that this be informative and helpful for neurodivergent folks and those who work with them -- that is easiest to achieve through ongoing collaboration.
