Installing the extension

Moodle Rubric Assistant is a Firefox or Chrome browser extension designed to help educators streamline their Moodle Assignment grading process by saving and quickly inserting predefined comments into the rubric comment field. Follow this simple guide to install and start using the tool.

🔹 How to Install Moodle Rubric Assistant in Firefox

1. Go to the official Firefox Add-ons page

2. Click the "Add to Firefox" button

A pop-up will appear asking for permission to install the extension.

3. Confirm the installation: Click "Add" when prompted.

Firefox will install the extension, and you’ll see the Moodle Rubric Assistant icon appear in your browser toolbar.

Navigate to a Moodle assignment grading page with a Rubric enabled with comments. The Moodle Rubric Assistant should now be active on the page. If you need help with the file format or using the extension, hover over the help icon next to the “Upload Comments” button.
