Dr Mike Todorovic
Griffith University
Dr Mike Todorovic is a Senior Lecturer of Anatomy and Physiology at Griffith University in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. He has developed an impressive reputation for his ability to communicate the complexities of the human body across a range of traditional and social media platforms - reaching over 10 million people every month. He is well known for his medical education YouTube channel, Dr Matt and Dr Mike, with over 35 million views and half a million subscribers. His podcast, of the same name, is in the top 1% most shared podcasts globally and is a Top 10 Medicine podcast on both Spotify and iTunes with over 2 million downloads. He has worked extensively on radio and television, with over 150 ABC Radio call back segments and multiple television shows, including being a lead scientist on the National Geographic docuseries, 'Limitless' with Chris Hemsworth.
He has won multiple awards for his teaching and engagement, including a citation for outstanding innovation and scholarship, and the Pro-Vice Chancellors Staff Excellence Award for Engagement.
He has been awarded over $1.3 million in research funding and published over 25 peer reviewed articles and textbook chapters.

Sharon A. Bong is Professor of Gender Studies at the School of Arts and Social Sciences, Monash University Malaysia. She has authored Becoming queer and religious in Malaysia and Singapore (2020), and co-edited Gender and Sexuality Justice in Asia (2020). She is former consultant to and coordinator of the Ecclesia of Women in Asia, an academic forum of feminist Catholic women theologians in Asia, a forum writer for the Catholic Theological Ethics in the World Church (on ecological ethics, sexual ethics, postcolonial theories and LGBTQ theologies) and a member of the Board of Editors and Board of Directors for Concilium, the international journal for theology. She has facilitated gender-sensitisation workshops for UNHCR, Bar Council, etc. Together with Dr Joseph Go and Vizla Kumaresan, Dr Bong was a recipient of a 2018 Vice-Chancellor Award for Diversity and Inclusion.
