This code of conduct applies to all ACES spaces, including in-person, Zoom and Slack. Anyone who violates this code of conduct may be sanctioned or expelled from these spaces at the discretion of the organising committees.
ACES attendees should behave professionally and follow the guidelines outlined here. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Harassment and exclusionary comments or jokes are not condoned.

Gratuitous or off-topic sexual images or behaviour.
Threats of violence or incitement of violence towards any individual.
Deliberate intimidation.
Stalking or following.
Harassing photography or recording, including logging online activity for harassment purposes.
Sustained disruption of discussion.
Unwelcome sexual attention.
Continued one-on-one communication after requests to cease.
Publication of non-harassing private communication.
Participants can report any violation of these guidelines to members of the organising committees in confidence. If asked to stop inappropriate behaviour participants are expected to comply immediately and, in serious cases, may be asked to leave.
