8–12 July, 2024 in Melbourne, Australia
The ACES conference was held at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia over 8–12 July, 2024.
The goal of ACES is to bring together researchers working on all aspects of cool evolved stars — especially AGB and post-AGB stars and red supergiants.
A non-exhaustive list of scientific topics linked to our theme of cool evolved stars includes stellar evolution, nucleosynthesis, pulsations, distance scales, mass loss, circumstellar material, dust formation, binary interactions, transitions to other objects and evolutionary stages, and population synthesis. We welcome contributions on any of these topics, which may come from the perspective of observations, modelling and/or theory of the chemical or physical states of these stars and their (circumstellar) environments.
