Did you know that when water intrudes on your property, mold begins to start growing in as little as 48 hours?
Many times, there wasn't a 'significant' instance, rather just over time, you notice things like when you're home, you're stuffed up. But when you leave you feel better.
Whether a pipe bursts in your basement or water is seeping into your foundation, the moment you notice water pooling, it's important to get that addressed quickly.

Generally speaking, there are a few rules of thumb when it comes to knowing if you have a mold problem.
If one of these apply, there's a good chance you have an issue.
You can 'Smell' something
You can 'See' something
You had recent water damage
You or family are 'sick' in the house but seem to be fine when you leave
Call us. We will discuss the situation with you, answer all of your questions and provide you with guidance. Everything is fixable. In 20 years, we have never seen a mold problem that we couldn't fix.
We will come out to inspect the areas so we can assess what needs to be done to bring the area back to a healthy status.
There may be testing recommended. There are reasons 'to' test and there are reasons that testing is not necessary. If testing is recommended, it will be thoroughly explained why so you can make a decision on whether or not you'd like to proceed with it.
After the inspection is complete, we will provide you with an estimate of suggested remediation, any further testing that is recommended and a timeframe to complete the project. All of this in an easy to read and understand format.
If you are satisfied with estimate, you will be able to schedule the remediation and/or rebuild and get on the calendar.
During the inspection process, we will identify the source of the damage. This may use certain types of moisture readers, infrared instruments and more to make a determination of the cause and necessary plan of action that will need to be followed. Many times inspections are required when the water source isn't visible to the eye and may require more 'digging' to find out what areas have been affected.
On site, the inspector will explain his findings and will follow up with a written plan for the recommended corrective measures. This will be followed up with an estimate for the project.
During the inspection process, if we feel that testing is necessary (it is not always necessary), we will explain the reason why we'd like to get some tests done.
Explain the cost and you are the final decision maker if we proceed forward with the test. We take samples (either surface or air) and send those samples to an independent and accredited laboratory for analysis. When we received the results back, we provide you with those results and an explanation of what it means.
There are times when we highly recommend testing and there are other times when testing really isn't necessary. Every situation is different and we will thoroughly explain yours, either way.
After assessing the damage and reviewing the goals of the project with you, we will create an estimate that is easy to understand yet comprehensive in the process to remediate the mold from your home.
This estimate will include the expected timeframe of the project, the cost of the project, what payments are required and when, a complete scope of work as well as any additional information that is needed for you.
Once approved, we will get you on the schedule to begin work asap.
Remediation is the official term for 'getting rid of mold properly'. We will set up containment to protect other areas of your home from cross-contamination. There will be a variety of tools and equipment used, depending on the type of job. Always commercial grade, safe and effective measures are taken during the remediation process.
It's important that the company performing remediation has experience and is following protocol. We take pride in a job well done because we know that when we leave our projects, the homeowner and family are safe in their home.
We always perform clearance testing at the end of the projects to insure a safe and satisfactory, clean bill of health for your property.
