WHAT:
- Your artist statement should be a well-crafted piece of writing. Spell check. Read it aloud to yourself. Have someone proof it. Imagine it being posted on a wall next to your work…representing you as a thoughtful, smart, and caring artist.
- Your artist statement is about you, your creative process, your interests.
- Your artists statement does not need to be long BUT it does need to be insightful, genuine, and well written.
