ART OPTIONS

Depending on your job, you can choose from the following:

3D Model of an atom

• This is primarily for the Chemists
• You will need to be creative in finding materials to use

Photo Essay

• For any job except Chemist, but consider what story or message you want to tell
• Your photo essay can be realistic and straightforward, or imaginative and dramatic
  • Is an evil chemist plotting to leak plutonium into the school cafeteria and only 8th graders can stop it? I don't know! You tell (show) me via photo essay.

Poster

• For any job, but think about what angle you will take.
• Should be done in the style of a propaganda poster
• Use limited color palette, and words and images to convey a message.
• What is your job? Are you trying to inform somebody of the hazards of an element? Consider making a PSA. Are you trying to convince someone to use or something? Make a persuasive propaganda poster. Do you need to show facts and figures, or a historical timeline? Make it informative and educational!
