IV LEVETIRACETAM 500mg/5mL (Generic) 

• For NEUROSURGERY cases only

• Online JKUT is required

• Indication: For pre-op seizure prophylaxis in high risk seizure patients

• Kept in FBW JKUT (Miscellaneous)

IV NICARDIPINE 10mg/10mL

• Indication: For blood pressure control in intracranial bleed (ICB) secondary to hypertensive emergency when labetelol and nitrates are ineffective or contraindicated

• Online JKUT is required

Tablet NIMODIPINE 30mg

• For NEUROSURGERY only. Imprest stock for Neurosurgery Wards (NICU, NHDW, N4AB, N6A, N6B)

• NO JKUT form is required

• Maximum duration per case is for 21 days ONLY 

• Kindly confirm date started in ward for each discharge Rx 

Tablet PIRACETAM 1200mg (NOOTROPIL) 

• Can only be started by NEUROSURGERY ONLY and ONLINE JKUT form is required

• For INPATIENT SUPPLY only

• Maximum duration of supply for discharge (if indicated) is 2 WEEKS only
