Art For the Heart Art Competition 2024
Contest Period: Now till 8 Sept 2024 (Sunday) 11.59pm
Stand to win attractive prizes worth up to $170!
Calling for artists of all levels to join! In conjunction with World Heart Day (29 September), the Singapore Heart Foundation is excited to invite all students to showcase their creativity through an initiative, Art for the Heart, featuring traditional 2D artworks.
To do:
Create an artwork that embodies the theme: Feed Your Heart, Nourish Your Art.
Write a short write-up about your artwork.
Upload them in the form here.
Participants are encouraged to create an artwork that aligns with this theme by showcasing the connection between nutritious food choices and a healthier heart. Do creatively show how a well-balanced diet gives both physical well-being and artistic expression.
Theme for 2024: Feed Your Heart, Nourish Your Art
Judging Criteria:
1. Relevance to Theme: Effectiveness of the artwork in capturing the theme of eating well for a healthy heart.
2. Information and Impact: Ability to convey the message about healthy eating and heart health through visual arts.
3. Design and Visual Appeal: Effective use of colours and art elements/techniques.
4. Compliance to Guidelines: Adherence to the contest rules and submission requirements. (e.g., permitted art mediums, and submission format).

SYF CELEBRATIONS 2024 @ GARDENS BY THE BAY
Supertree Grove and Flower Dome

Our School Choir will be performing on 29 June at 5.30pm!
The SYF Celebrations provides a platform for student performers to demonstrate their passion in dance, drama and music and to engage with the community through the arts. It also offers opportunities for students to collaborate with local artists and practitioners to further develop artistic skills and dispositions.

Radin Mas Caterpillar Award 2024
To support gifted children and youths in developing their talents in the fields of Arts, Music or Sports, there will be an award of up to S$2,000 in value per recipient. (Note: the award will not be cash award, but will be in the form of financial support, such as coach fees, or purchase of musical instrument for the successful applicants)
Eligible applicants:
Singapore Citizens only, residing in Radin Mas Constituency
Age: 18 years old and below
Household salary: Gross Household Income of not more than $15,000.00 or Per Capita Income of not more than $3,500.00.
Applicants will go through 2 rounds of interviews with us, whereby we will assess their interest, eligibility and the talents in their chosen fields.

Co-create art to celebrate inclusiveness and support the aspirations of persons with disabilities. Make a donation of $10 per participant to art jam on specially designed canvases created by five talented artists on the autism spectrum from The Art Faculty.

First held in 2010, i Light Singapore showcases light art installations created by Singaporean and international artists. These artworks are designed with energy-saving lightings and/or environmentally-friendly materials to encourage festival goers and the general public to adopt sustainable habits in their everyday lives. The Festival also features a diverse range of fringe activities for visitors to enjoy, bringing vibrancy to public spaces in our city centre.
