Delvin joined Unity in 2008 and he was dubbed the 'Wonderkid' when he was called up to the Singapore Men's Basketball team at a young age of 15. When he turned professional for Singapore Slingers at the age of 16, he struggled while juggling between his school and basketball commitment.
Through his hard work and with the help of his teachers, he managed to secure a place at Nanyang Polytechnic, to study for a Diploma in Electronics, Computer & Communications Engineering. He has since graduated from NYP and is currently plying his trade as a Singapore Slingers player while doing basketball coaching at the same time.
