The parents in our TPSS parent support group (PSG) are passionate and committed in collaborating with the school for an excellent school experience for students and parents.
There is a TPSS PSG Executive Committee (PSG EXCO) that helps to coordinate efforts and organise activities for parents. They meet regularly to plan and carry out collaborative programmes that achieve the desired academic and character development of the students. Their effort to encourage other parents' participation helps to make the school a welcoming and supportive place for parents.
Any parent can join PSG as long as your child is with the school.

The TPSS PSG has a WhatsApp group chat for each level, for members to network and share ideas.
If you wish to be included in the TPSS PSG Level WhatsApp group chat, please contact Mdm Caroline Kwan (PSG Chairperson) or Mdm Liy Lee Ping (SH/Chemistry) or indicate it on the TPSS PSG sign up form.
Parents are reminded to observe the following etiquette for the group chats:
Communicate with the school through official channels on specific needs of your child, if any.
Respect the views and comments of fellow members in the group.
Seek the school's permission before adding new members to any chat or social media group, and keep all personal contact details confidential. Do not circulate details for other purposes.

The functions of the TPSS PSG EXCO are to:
promote a collaborative relationship between parents and the principal, teachers and students in the school.
provide opportunities for the parents to volunteer their services using their time and talent in student programmes and co-curricular activities.
provide constructive input ( and/or be available for consultation ) on school policies and goals, practices and programmes.
support parents in the school community.
actively reach out to parents to ensure sustainability of PSG.
The tenure of appointment is for one year and the school holds termly meetings with the PSG EXCO. However, PSG EXCO may meet as often as it deems necessary to facilitate their work.
