Tamil Camp

The Tamil camp is held annually during the Mother Tongue Fortnight. P4 students were involved in the MTL camp. The theme for this year’s camp was wedding. Students were introduced to the customs and traditions of the Hindu wedding. The grand wedding display was a hit with the students. They were taught how to do the thoranam  (coconut leaf weaving) that is used as decorations during the wedding. The camp enabled pupils to learn and appreciate Tamil language and culture in a fun and exciting way.The camp was an enriching experience for our students.

Deepavali Celebrations

Deepavali is a joyous celebration celebrated by the Hindus all around the world. To share the meaning of Deepavali with the rest of the Innovians, Deepavali concert will be held every year in IPS. Classroom activities are also done at every level to educate the pupils about Deepavali.
