National Geographic: How the Netherlands Feeds the World
https://www.nationalgeographic.com/magazine/article/holland-agriculture-sustainable-farming
“This article offers some really interesting and thought-provoking insights into agricultural technology and sustainable farming in the Netherlands. The Dutch have become world leaders in agricultural innovation, and I found myself thinking about how and what Singapore – in light of our ‘30 by 30’ goal – can learn from the experiences in the Netherlands. In addition, I think the infographics included in article can also be used by teachers to spark some lively discussions with their students!”
Bloomberg CityLab
“Bloomberg CityLab was launched in 2020, and is a site (hosted on Bloomberg) that is dedicated to covering issues and challenges faced by cities around the world, and the innovative solutions that have emerged or are needed. Bloomberg CityLab covers several topics related to urban challenges and innovation. However, as a Geography teacher, I personally find that the sections focused on Environment, Transportation, and Housing very interesting and useful. Teachers may be particularly interested to check out their Cities Issue that was just released in end-August this year! ”
