Activity 1 [Think-Pair-Share]:
Leadership Advice from your role model
Select a role model. (Ideal leader)
Write down the name of the role model on a paper
Take on the role of your leader and write one important piece of leadership advice they would give to you. (You may refer to internet)
Exchange the paper face down to someone else.
Read the piece of advice and think of how the advice can apply to you.
Repeat 4 & 5.
Reflect:
[What] Who is your favourite leader?
[So What] What are the advices that resonate with you?
[What Next] What actions would you take to implement this advice?
Activity 2: Find the Leader
Arrange yourselves in a big circle.
Everyone close your eyes.
Teacher selects one detective and send him/ her outside the room.
Teacher selects a leader. Everyone will know who the leader is except the detective.
The leader has to lead the group through a series of movements without letting the
players give away the identity of the leader.
The detective may enter the room and guess who the leader is. He/She has 3 chances to guess before elimination.
Reflect:
[What] Were the actions demonstrated by the leader clear to all?
[So What] How did the detective guess the leader correctly?
[So What] What skills do the leader possess?
[What Next] How differently would you do if you were a leader?
What do you think is the message of the video clip?
How did the characters in the video model the way?
