School Field

The school field is a place that hosts multiple activities on a daily basis. From PE lessons to CCAs, the field has become a multi-functional venue.

One notable feature is the installation of the SMARTiFitness System that allows students to track their run progress and timings automatically and provides immediate feedback on their run. This has shown to greatly boost students' motivation and provided invaluable feedback for them to improve their performance.

Indoor Sports Hall Level 1 - Basketball Courts

The basketball courts are one of the many sports facilities that are available to students in Swiss Cottage. Built at the 1st level of our Indoor Sports Hall(ISH), it is the popular choice for students to spend time at after school.


Indoor Sports Hall Level 3 - Badminton Courts

The badminton courts are one of the many sports facilities that are available to students in Swiss Cottage. Built at the 3rd level of our Indoor Sports Hall(ISH), it serves other purposes as well, hosting basketball or volleyball games.

Available for use after school as well, students are welcome to practise at their own time or spend some time to relax after school.


School Hall

The school hall is a multipurpose space which supports several of the day-to-day activities and CCAs within the school, from musical performances to national exams.

Able to fit the whole school for assemblies and performances for all to enjoy, students and teachers alike.

The school hall boasts two huge overhead fans so as everyone inside stay cool in our humid temperature.

Quadrangle

The Quadrangle is a multipurpose space which supports several of the day-to-day activities within the school.

Daily, it is used for PE lessons as well as Morning Assembly during the examination periods. It is also used from CCA training sessions for Sports, Uniform Groups and Performing Arts as well.

The space will soon see a facelift and will be upgraded to include an additional Basketball Court to expand the number of playing areas of CCA trainings.

Science Labs

Swiss Cottage's science labs are well-equipped and spacious.

Uniquely shaped tables encourage collaboration and discussions amongst students, spurring their curiosity.

Computer Labs

Well-equipped computer labs are a must in the new age of learning, and Swiss Cottage has 4 such labs. Each lab filled with laptops and projectors in a conducive environment to engage and enhance their learning.

Applied Learning Programme Room

ALP room is a space where our science TDP students discuss and carry out projects for various competitions, teachers demonstrate concepts that are in line with Sustainable Development.

Smart Electrical Technology Room

Smart Electrical Technology is a MOE-ITE applied subject offered to Normal (Technical) students for a two-year course at the upper secondary level. It provides students with training in the core, foundational concepts and principles of electrical circuitry and operation of home automation systems.

Training in electrical circuits and home automation systems are conducted in this lab. Students use training kits that simulate authentic situations in electrical wiring connections and scenarios in home automation system to help them apply their learnings to practices in the real world.

Art Room

In this studio style space, students create artworks from their own inspiration using their creative minds. Filled with various mediums at the ready, it provides a space for students to reach their greatest art-making potential.

Cookery Room

Our cookery rooms are mainly used for Food & Consumer Education lessons as well as elective modules where students spend their time after their exams learning new things about the world.

D'Hangout

D’Hangout is a space consisting of a variety of entertainment facilities for the students. Facilities include pool tables, table soccer, PS4 consoles, Nintendo Switch, and a new Virtual Reality console (Oculus Quest). D’Hangout is open on non-CCA days after school and is run by student crew for all students in the school.

The school has added a coffee corner outside D'Hangout for students to acquire skills in the Food and Beverage industry. The corner will see students learning skills required of Baristas such as customer service, communication, marketing as well as skills necessary to make a good tasting and "Insta-worthy" cup of coffee.

The coffee corner is equipped with commercial-grade equipment and will be further enhanced and decorated by students to make it a corner of their own.

School Gym

The revamped gym helps students stay fit with a wide range of equipment. Ranging from barbells to rowing machines, each new equipment was thoughtfully chosen to help the students.

Students are taught proper gym etiquette and techniques to push themselves, improving their performance in their CCAs.
