At the “Script it Right” Chinese Radio Drama Script Writing Competition (“与声剧来”中文广播剧创作比赛) held earlier this year, Xin Ru, Jiachang and Aynsley achieved first placing in the Outstanding Script category (优秀剧本奖).

President's Award for Teachers 2022
Mr Lin Shaojie, Lead Teacher for Mathematics, was awarded the prestigious President's Award for Teachers in 2022. He has inspired countless Riversidians with his engaging lessons and a dedication to growing each and every student to their fullest potential. Beyond our Riversidians, he also shares his learning and insights generously with our teachers and other members of the fraternity. Mr Lin is an inspiration to both our students and teachers alike. Our School, Our Stories Photo & Video Competition 2022
Our Riverside Media Club won the Best Video Story (Junior Category) and also received an Honourable Mention in the Photo Category of the Our School, Our Stories Photo & Video Competition.
Best Video Story (Junior Category)
We wanted to showcase our school’s various programmes, and how we have a good school culture. Riverside is a school where students are given many opportunities to learn how to become a leader and work with teammates effectively. One such opportunity is RISE, or Riverside Integrated Skills Experience, where we learn about ourselves, how to lead, and be prepared for the future.

Honourable Mention (Youth Category)
When we think of the word “school”, the first things that come to our minds are teachers and students. Besides them, there are others – the librarians who ensure that our favourite books end up in our hands, the cleaners who keep the classroom clean and conducive for us to learn and study, and the security guards who make sure that we enter and leave the school safely. They work together to create the best environment a student can study in. After all, the school is the child’s second home, and home consists of supportive and helpful members.
