Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) are an integral part of students' secondary education. All students must participate in one CCA.
As part of the Secondary 1 orientation, students will participate in CCA Trials on 9 January, 8 am to 12.40 pm. The trials allow students to explore the range of CCAs offered at QSS. Students experience different CCAs, identify interests, and gain a better understanding of what each activity entails.
This supports informed CCA selection where students can enjoy themselves and grow.
Trials will be carried out for the following CCAs:
Badminton (girls)
Basketball (boys)
Football (boys & girls)
Volleyball (boys & girls)
Hockey (boys & girls)
Concert Band
Choir
Dance
Drama
During the trials, CCA teachers and instructors may identify students who show aptitude, interest or potential.
Please note that:
The trials do not determine the final CCA allocation.
Students will still indicate all available CCAs in the preference form after the trials.
Final allocation takes into account student preferences and vacancies.
