Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) are an integral part of students' secondary education. All students must participate in one CCA.

As part of the Secondary 1 orientation, students will participate in CCA Trials on 9 January, 8 am to 12.40 pm. The trials allow students to explore the range of CCAs offered at QSS. Students experience different CCAs, identify interests, and gain a better understanding of what each activity entails.

This supports informed CCA selection where students can enjoy themselves and grow. 

Trials will be carried out for the following CCAs:

• Badminton (girls)

• Basketball (boys)

• Football (boys & girls)

• Volleyball (boys & girls)

• Hockey (boys & girls)

• Concert Band

• Choir

• Dance

• Drama 

During the trials, CCA teachers and instructors may identify students who show aptitude, interest or potential. 

Please note that:

• The trials do not determine the final CCA allocation.

• Students will still indicate all available CCAs in the preference form after the trials.

• Final allocation takes into account student preferences and vacancies.
