Walk to school
Students who walk to school can enter the school via Gate 1A conveniently located next to the main entrance or via Gate 4 which is at the side of the school near to Block 134 Lor Ah Soo.

Please be informed that all Secondary 1 students will be issued with the new Secondary level School Smart Cards (SSCs i.e. student bus passes) in Term 1 2026. In the meantime, students can still use their Primary level SSCs for concessionary travel until April 2026, where they can purchase the concession pass for Secondary School students with their Primary level SSCs.

Reporting time: 7.30am (Students are encouraged to arrive at school earlier to avoid the traffic congestion outside)
Reporting venue*: Area outside the General office
Reporting attire*: Full school uniform (bring along red tie for photo-taking)
Things to bring: Writing Materials (Pen, notebook), Water Bottle, Book for Silent Reading, EZ Link Card (Should you need to make purchases in the canteen and bookshop after dismissal at 1.30pm)
* Sec 1 Class allocation will ONLY be released on the First Day of school on 2 Jan 2026. Please note that students’ classes reflected on PG app before 2 Jan 2026 will be organised in alphabetical order by students’ surname and is for administrative purposes only. This PG class allocation will not be the girls’ final Sec 1 allocated classes.
*Student Leaders will be stationed at the area outside the general office to assist Sec 1 students to check their class allocation. After which, student leaders will guide new students to their respective classrooms. There will also be clear sign postings to guide new students to the classrooms.
*Students who were unable to purchase the school uniform in time can report to school in their primary school uniform.
In PL, the Secondary 1 orientation programme is also known as the iDiscover Orientation Programme. This programme serves to orientate all Secondary 1 students and help them adapt well to the PL family. Orientation activities will take place over the first 3 days of school (non-residential). These activities are designed to help them DISCOVER more about themselves, their peers, PL and the community. The programme will culminate in a Finale Night on Day 4 where parents/guardians will get the opportunity to meet the School Leaders, Key Personnel, your daughter's/ward's form teachers.
