Overview of Post-Secondary Admission Exercises for 4N(A)
Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP)
A one-year programme that offers a practice-oriented curriculum to better prepare polytechnic-bound Sec 4N(A) students for entry into a polytechnic diploma.
NAFA Foundation Programme (NFP)
A one-year practice-based programme that prepares Sec 4N(A) students to pursue a diploma in the creative arts. NFP students who successfully complete the programme will be offered a place in their chosen diploma course at NAFA.
Sec 5N(A)
Sec 4N(A) students can progress to Sec 5N(A) and sit for the O-Level examination based on their N-Level examination results.
Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP) via JIE'H'
DPP allows Sec 4N(A) students to be admitted directly into selected 2-year Higher Nitec courses at ITE without having to sit for the O-Level examinations. DPP students who successfully complete their Higher Nitec courses at ITE and attain the required qualifying Grade Point Average (GPA) scores are guaranteed a place in a polytechnic diploma course mapped to their Higher Nitec course.
3-year Higher Nitec (via JIE'N')
The Joint Intake Exercise 'N' (JIE 'N') caters to the intake of GCE ‘N’ Level holders into full-time 3-year Higher Nitec courses.
